December comes in with lots of school projects, presentations, tests, not to mention the final examination just round the corner. Thus the MBS Sports Day on the 18 th December came in as a good rest-and-relax session for many, including our teachers! The event kicked off at 8.30am with a big bang with the welcome speech from Victor Burill, the event manager. With his final words “Game On!” all students and teachers were fired up and rushed to their various games stations, all geared up and raring to go!. The sports competed between individual classes included basketball, table tennis, badminton, team relay games, rock climbing and tug –of –war! All teachers were also kept busy performing their refereeing duties and joining in the fun at the finale of tug-of-war. At the end of the day, everyone was indeed exhausted, but it was all worthwhile as we sweat it out, displaying our best skills and sportsmanship, and also get to know each other better!
